· Lack is also the defending Deckertring Grand Prix winner, Mister Eight-time cruised to victory over his FAST teammate Steve Rist. Coincidentally, Rist finished second at Badger, two weeks ago.
· John Wiedemann enters round four as the only driver to appear in all three finals and holds a four point lead over Lack in the early going of the championship, Ev Kamikawa is one more marker behind Lack and Matt Hayek sits fourth, ten behind his FAST II: The Castaways teammate. Joe Heitz rounds out the top five, 15 back.
· STATS WATCH: Scott Mente became the 39th driver in IndySlotCar Series history to win a heat race, this also makes Mente the 44th driver to appear in a final. James Spehert moves to 31st on the all-time career starts list with 33, moving past Phil Marich. Mente’s fourth start moves him to 43rd on that list. Bill Black passes Hall of Famer Jim Iverson on the all-time Laps list, with 26,752, good for 15th. Mente’s 495 circuits jumps to 41st. John Wiedemann’s DNF at Badger is the 44th of his career, breaking a tie with Mike Fitzlaff and moving up to fourth on that list, while Mente scored his first career DNF (via the “Death Card”), becoming the 43rd driver, of the 61 who have ever made a start, to finish a race early.
