Race Notes:
· Joe Heitz scored his first Halloween Havoc victory last season at Quarry Heights Raceway, it was the first win of the season in his attempt to defend his Husarsbilt Cup championship.
· John Wiedemann is coming off his first victory of the season two weeks ago at the Deckertring, that followed two runner-up finishes to open the season and comes into the Halloween Havoc with an early 37 point lead in the championship.
· Wiedemann has had success at Quarry Heitz Raceway, the defending Husarsbilt Cup champ has the second most victories of active drivers at the Havoc with three, only Dan Margetta has more, with five.
· Three different pole winners this season, Wiedemann, Lack and Black, none won the race they took the Firestone P1 Award at, allowing the Pole-to-Win prize fund to climb past 100,000 IndySlotCar bucks.
· Stats Watch: There have been three different race winners and three different Firestone P1 Award winners this season, only John Wiedemann is on both lists. Wiedemann has appeared in all three finals, only Ev Kamikawa and Mike Lack have appeared in more than one final, a total of eight different drivers have made finals this season. Full fields at the opening events has tallied a total of 17 different drivers making starts this season, just one less than all of last season. However, only seven drivers have made all three races.
