Race Notes:

·         Ev Kamikawa is coming off his first win in over a season, last finding victory lane at the 2025 HO Indy 500. The Fall Brawl will be the Hall of Fame driver’s 400th career start, only Dan Margetta has met more green flags in series history.

·         It appears early season Husarsbilt Cup points leader Matt Hayek will be missing the Brawl, this gives his nearest competitors a chance to overcome the gap, including Kamikawa who is 21 points back; John Wiedemann, 23 and Dan Margetta 33.

·         Wiedemann will be the only driver in the field with an opportunity to open the season with three straight finals, Hayek is the only other who has been in both to start the season.

·         The season has seen strong fields so far, with 15 and 14 entries respectively, another strong group is expected at The Road Course at Badger Raceway.

·         Stats watch: Matt Hayek’s latest finals appearance is the 79th of his career, moving into the top 10 on the all-time list, while Mike Kristof’s return to a final, is the 54th of his career moving to 15th, breaking a tie with his Good Vibes Racing teammate Joe Heitz. James Spehert’s 32nd career start at Road Geneva moves him into a tie for 31st most starts, Scott Mente’s third, joins a large group at 43rd on that list. Mente also moves to 43rd on the all-time laps turned list with 374.
