Race Notes:

• One of the handful of events that have been held every season, this will be the 33rd Turkey Trot. Ev Kamikawa has taken home the most turkeys with six wins, but John Wiedemann has been taking home the most turkeys recently riding a three race winning streak at the Trot.

• The only other active drivers with Turkey Trot victories include: hometown hero Dan Margetta, Mike Lack, Matt Hayek, Mike Fitzlaff and John Shea.

• There have been five different Firestone P1 Award winners this season and only Matt Hayek has turned that into a win, at the opening round, meaning the Pole-to-Win Fund has been growing since round two and now sits at 56,000 IndySlotCar bucks.

• Mike Lack missed his first final at the Black Track, with a DNF, but still sits atop the Husarsbilt Cup points with a 38 point lead over Matt Hayek, 40 ahead of Dean Strom.

• STATS WATCH: With his unexpected elevation to the win at the Jackson 500, Dan Margetta becomes the fifth different winner of the season, only Lack repeating. Bill Black moves to 16th on the all-time starts list with his 141st start at his home track.
