IndySlotCar Series Notes:

·         The curtain rises on the 34th IndySlotCar Series season once again at what has been the traditional opener for most of the last 20 seasons, the Mini Milwaukee Mile, Matt Hayek is the defending race winner (winner of two of the last three TC 500s, and Dan Margetta and Ev Kamikawa have the most wins, at four, at the HO-scale version of the local icon.

·         Mike Lack is the defending Husarsbilt Cup champion, 2025-26 was Lack’s record extending eighth title, but his first in five years. Joe Heitz was his closest pursuer, finishing 19 points behind, with John Wiedemann third, 27 points back.

·         After securing the Rookie of the Year title last season, Scott Mente looks to make a full season campaign, teaming up with Hayek and Wiedemann.

·         STATS WATCH: Mike Lack sits atop the all-time wins list with 62, adding five to that total in the 2025-26 campaign. Dan Margetta holds the most Firestone P1 Awards, with 58, scoring one last season and sitting just one ahead of Lack. Margetta is also well ahead of anyone else for Heat Wins, Final Four Appearances, Starts, Laps turned and DNFs. Margetta has competed in every one of the 34 seasons of the IndySlotCar Series history.
