Race Notes:

·         John Wiedemann has clinched his third Husarsbilt Cup championship, with his win at the Larry Rotter Memorial Grand Prix and Wiedemann has clinched the Andretti/Mansell Award for the road course championship.

·         Wiedemann’s six victory of the season is the most in his 16 season IndySlotCar career.

·         Bill Black runs second in the championship, currently without a win, the #7 CBD driver would be the first championship runner-up to not take at least one victory.

·         There is a close battle among three drivers for third through sixth in the championship, with Ev Kamikawa 16 points ahead of Mike Lack and Joe Heitz three behind Lack. And a group of drivers from eighth to eleventh is separated by just 13 markers, Pete Dorn at 318, Mike Kristof-312, Dean Strom-309 and Brad Core at 305.

·         STATS WATCH: Dean Strom’s heat win and final four appearance gives him 70 and 90 respectively, sixing sixth on the all-time Heat Win list and moves into a tie with Hall of Famer Larry Rotter on the Finals list at seventh. Steve Rist moves to 23rd on the all-time starts list with 86. Joe Heitz jumps past John Baas to 22nd on the Laps list with 16,001.
