Race Notes:

·         John Wiedemann is looking to sweep IndySlotCar’s holiday trio of races, having already won the Halloween Havoc and the Turkey Trot. Add the victory at the Deckertring and JW leads the Husarsbilt Cup championship standings by 39 markers over Ev Kamikawa.

·         There have been six different Firestone P1 Award winners at the six events so far this season.

·         Those six different pole winners have yet to convert the advantage to a race win, because of that, the “Pole-To-Win” Fund has grown to near record levels, now over 150,000 IndySlotCar bucks.

·         Stats Watch: Amy Butler became the eleventh different driver to make an appearance in a final at the Turkey Trot. Butler’s heat win was the 16th of her career, advancing to 21st on the all-time list, it was also her 17 final, equaling John Baas’ career total, they are tied at 24th. Ev Kamikawa’s first Firestone P1 Award of the season at the Turkey Trot is the 41st of his career, moving him into a tie at fourth all-time. Brad Core’s 58th career start moves him to 27th on the all-time list and James Spehert jumps up to 34th with his 16th start.  Several drivers advances up the DNF list at the de-slot Turkey Trot, Bill Black joins two other drivers at 15th with 23 career DNFs, Steve Rist moves to 22nd with 16, Brad Core to 27th with seven and James Spehert’s third DNF finds him tied with Drew Halvorson and Phil Marich in 32nd.
